The Amedeo Modigliani Foundation, amongst its activities of dissemination and enhancement of the figure and work of the artist Amedeo Modigliani, announces an award addressed to a wide audience of emerging artists both in traditional art expressions and innovative ones.
Award, included in one's Curriculum Vitae, become key information for evaluating the artistic path and career.
The Award is supported by public and private institutions and intends to recognize and enhance artistic personalities who can renew the Italian and international art scene.
The Award jury is made up of a prestigious technical committee, made up of international academic personalities renowned in their respective sectors: critics, journalists, artists and/or gallery owners who will meet to select the finalist works .
The Award is open to artists all over the world that will be selected by the technical committee composed of prominent personalities in each section of the Award.
The Foundation will recognize the following prizes to the winners for each section: For each winner of the Painting, Sculpture, Photography and Installations sections there will be a personal exhibition with catalog, press office and communication on social media.
For the winner of the Literature section (Poetry, Essays and Fiction) the book will be published and launched through the press and social media channels.
The Foundation will issue the Finalist Certificate for the Amedeo Modigliani Foundation Award to the 50 Finalists for each category as well.
The competition does not include a specific theme and is divided into different categories: Painting, Sculpture, Photography, Installations, Literature (Poetry, Essays, Fiction).
Only unpublished works, which have not participated in any prize and have not had any publications, will be allowed to participate..
Artists, after having filled in the on-line form attaching one of their works, will be informed about their possible eligibility to the competition, and only in that case they will be able to register and proceed with the evaluation by the technical committee for the finalists.
Winners will be honored in the prestigious Wynwood Art District with an exhibition of their winning works. The Amedeo Modigliani Award will also be awarded to personalities who have distinguished themselves in the field of culture and entertainment during the year. Career awards relating to the award categories will also be awarded. The awards ceremony will be held on 21 September 2024 in Rome at the prestigious Amedeo Modigliani Foundation in the presence of artists, national and international press, gallery owners, collectors and art exponents. critics and experts in the different categories proposed by the Award.
The commitment of the Amedeo Modigliani Foundation is to set up a technical committee of undisputed international level and to raise the Award to a coveted and prestigious appointment in the field of culture.
